The government says it will give a 10 percent rebate on purchases of home appliances with the highest level of energy efficiency.<br />From November to the end of the year, the incentive will be applied to seven items, including air conditioners, refrigerators and air purifier, that are purchased in that period.<br />Air conditioners that have at least the third highest energy efficiency rating will also be eligible, except for wall-mounted ones.<br />Products need to be registered at REBATE-DOT-ENERGY-DOT-OR-DOT-KR from November 6th to January 15th.<br />The government expects to save 15-thousand megawatt hours of energy, which is roughly what 43-hundred households use in a year.<br />
